At Sea. c. March 1944. Personnel of No. 451 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF on the troopship SS Circassia which is taking them from Egypt to a new operational area in Corsica. This squadron came to the Middle East three years ago, made a fine reputation for itself as an Army co-operation squadron in the early campaigns in the Western Desert. Then it flew Hurricanes. Today it is a fighter squadron equipped with Spitfires.
