Tel el Khuweilfeh, Palestine, 1917-11-06. The dead bodies of two Turkish soldiers lie on the ground after they had been killed unsuccessfully defending Khuweilfeh and its wells against the 53rd Division of the British Army and the Australians of the 3rd Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps Brigade. Some of the Australian cameliers, with their camels, are in the background (left).
