Jesi, Italy. c. September 1944. Informal portrait of 421078 Warrant Officer (WO) E. J. Power of Leeton, NSW, in the cockpit of his North American P51 Mustang aircraft. WO Power is a pilot with No. 3 Squadron RAAF now flying P51 Mustangs in Italy in close support of the Eighth Army, as well as penetrating deep into Yugoslavia and Austria to harass the retreating German forces.
