Mesopotamia. c. 1917. A member of the 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, operates a mobile wireless unit at the back of a covered instrument wagon. The radio gear was in the back limber of the horse drawn wagon set while the front limber contained the engine, alternator and rotary discharger. (Donor E. Keast Burke)
