Gallipoli, Turkey. 1915-08. Interior of a trench featuring a machine gun and two soldiers, probably of the 4th Battalion, at the northern side of `The Circus', one of the Lone Pine trenches captured on 1915-08-06 or 1915-08-07. The gun covered the Turkish trenches on Johnston's Gully, on the further side of Owen's Gully.
