Gallipoli, Turkey. c. 1915-08. Members of 4th Battalion queue for stores outside the canteen at the Battalion Headquarters. The original caption on the verso reads `About 25 pounds worth of stores were received for the Battalion but about 13 pounds worth of these were cigarettes which no one wanted. In the early days cigarettes and newspapers were very valuable'.
