A sign at the entrance to the tent lines of the Assault Pioneer Platoon, Support Company, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR), records the operations that the platoon had taken part in during 1970 and part of 1971. Beneath the name of the platoon, the sign reads: '2RAR/NZ Bn (Anzac) Assault Pioneer Platoon Sth Vietnam 1970-71. Operations: Ashfield, Capricorn, Cung Chung I, II and III, Nathan.'
