Probably Phuoc Tuy province, Vietnam, 1971-04. The dead body of a Viet Cong (VC) soldier lies in a field the morning after he had been killed in a night ambush by Support Company, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR). The man has an abdominal wound which was probably the cause of his death.
