Pall bearers carry the coffin, draped with the Australian flag, during a solemn ceremony held after the accidental deaths on 1965-06-26 in Bien Hoa of 37867 Private (Pte) Michael Alwyn Bourke of 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), 37010 Pte William T. Carroll, 1RAR, and Pte Arie Van Valen, 1RAR. Members of 1RAR formed a guard of honour at Tan Son Nhut airbase, before the bodies were flown back to Australia. Identified are, carrying the coffin, left to right: 215063 Pte Ian Dawson, unknown, 215121 Pte Arthur Burt, 215727 Pte Stan Jones, 3411044 Pte Leonard Rogasch and 213919 Pte George Daley.
