Description
The USS Benjamin Stoddert (no. 22), a Charles F. Adams class Guided Missile Destroyer, sails in Gulf waters while on duty shortly after the end of the Gulf War. Partly visible in the foreground (right) is the RAN Guided Missile Destroyer HMAS Brisbane, which is displaying a series of pennants. The Brisbane is serving in the Gulf as part of Australia's Operation Damask.
