Vietnam. 1966-03-11. Corporal Chris Webster of Smithfield, Sydney, NSW, digs in with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), during Operation Silver City in the heart of War Zone D, in South Vietnam. The Australian Battalion spearheaded an airlift of Allied troops into War Zone D to pave the way for a deep probe into Communist territory.
