Bradfield, Stanley Edward (Able Seaman/Anti-Aircraft Gunner, b: 1925)
Description
Typed and illustrated memoirs (approx. 80 pages), titled "My Navy Days", by F4474 Able Seaman/Anti-Aircraft Gunner Stanley Edward "Blue" Bradfield, describing his personal experiences of training and service in, and demobilisation from, the Royal Australian Navy during 1942-1946. Bradfield served on HMAS "Dubbo", "Nizam" and "Quickmatch" throughout the South West Pacific, India and Sri Lanka (Ceylon), East Africa, the Middle East and various coastal areas of Australia. Photographs show Bradfield before and during the war, in various locations, and the ships he served on.
