Hoi An, Quang Nam province, South Vietnam. c. 1966. Two barefoot South Vietnamese soldiers of 17 Squadron, 1st Armoured Brigade, Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), at work inside their armoured personnel carrier (APC). The soldier (left) is about to boil a kettle of water on a small burner to make tea, while the other man, who is wearing a black beret, is cleaning or repairing part of the vehicle's equipment.
