Hanover, Germany. 1945-02-22. An aircraft from an Australian Mosquito Squadron of RAF 2nd Tactical Air Force made a low level attack on the railway junction of Solatu north of Hanover. Smoke from bombs and cannon fire mingles with smoke from burning rolling stock and installations. The aircraft was flown by Pilot Officer G. W. Nunn and navigated by Pilot Officer H. L. Mitchell, both from Queensland.
