Germany. 1943-08. Defensive anti-aircraft flak photographed from one of the thirty four Australian Lancaster bomber aircraft that raided in moonlight the Peenemunde weapons research and development establishment in the Baltic. A total of 597 heavy bombers took part in the raid which disorganised the research and development effort on the flying bomb.
