Melbourne, VIC. 1916. Formal studio portrait of 632 Private (Pte) Charles Robert Mortomore who enlisted in the AIF on 1916-03-20. Pte Mortomore served with the 37th Infantry Battalion in France where he won the MM (Military Medal) in 1916-12. He died of wounds on 1917-02-27 and was buried in the Trois Arbres Military Cemetery near Armentieres. (Original print held in AWM Archive Store) (Donors R. and L. Rodgers)
