Amberley, Qld. 1953-03-28. An Avro Lincoln aircraft crew posted to serve with No 1 (B) Squadron, Singapore, prior to their departure from RAAF Amberley. From the left they are Sergeant (Sgt) D. Spence (mid upper gunner), Warrant Officer K. Ball (wireless operator), Pilot Officer A. Munday (bomb aimer), Flight Sergeant D. Tibbey (navigator), Sgt S. Murphy (second pilot) and Flying Officer E. Mc Hardie (captain). The tail gunner, Sgt A. Crampton, was absent. (Donor E. Mc Hardie)
