Vietnam. 1967-11. Private Chris Borlase of Kensington, NSW (with shovel), and Private Les Plester of Dongara, WA, at work on a key nerve centre during Operation Santa Fe. The preliminary work was the start of the Command Post for the 2RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (The ANZAC Battalion comprising 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment), from which the Battalion's part in the operation was directed.
