Description
Vietnam. 1967-11. A bayonet and ammunition pouch found in a Viet Cong jungle village during Operation Santa Fe, north east of Phuoc Tuy Province are examined by Private Dick Cutler of Grafton, NSW. The equipment was left behind with clothing, food, supplies and gardening tools in the village built to train and supply Viet Cong. After the village was found by 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), it was searched and destroyed.
