Vung Tau, Vietnam. 1966-12. Private (Pte) Tom Brand of Ballarat, Vic, and 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), keeps watch against pilferers during the unloading of the Australian National line ship the Jeparit. The vessel arrived with 2,800 tons of war stores, mail and Christmas gift parcels. Note Brand is holding an American Army pump action shotgun.
