Description

Camouflage is an important part of preparation for a night patrol in South Vietnam. Private Colin Ruge, 21, of Spring Street, Forbes “cams up” before setting out for a night ambush site. Colin was a member of the 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment / New Zealand (ANZAC) when this was taken but has since been transferred to the 9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. While serving in the 4th Battalion, Colin took part in Operation Federal, in the Bien Hoa province.
