Brigadier Ron Hughes of Stafford Park, Qld (left), 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Commander, discusses Operation Coburg with Lieutenant-Colonel Eric Smith of Mount Eliza, Vic, Commanding Officer of 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR). The battalion was located twenty miles north-east of Saigon and was supported by armour from A Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, and artillery from 4th Field Regiment.
