Description

Major Don Paterson of Greensborough, Vic, D Company Commander, 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), checks the condition of one of his men slightly wounded by shrapnel to his back during the successful ambush of a jungle track during Operation Coburg. The battalion was working with other elements of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF), in Bien Hoa Province, twenty miles north-east of Saigon.
