Folding canvas camp stretcher : Captain J M Head
Description
Heavy grade canvas stretcher panel with six folding wooden leg sections, in a bundle, with a rope carry handle. 'NX163427/BELL G.W. is handwritten at one end on the inside of the canvas panel. 'WX7644 Capt. J.M. HEAD' is written in red paint on the outside of the canvas panel. Also on the outside in faded black texta is '51 BATH ROAD,/BURWOOD/(TEL 292956)/', then '38 NEVILLE ST./GLENHUNTLY/(TEL LW6028), all of which have been crossed out, then 'VICTORIA'.
