Mena, Egypt. 1915-01. Members of the right section (Lieutenant Crisp's section) of the 9th Battery, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade (3FAB), in their lines ready for an inspection. The horse rugs are laid in front, then saddlery, then beds in a waterproof sheet and their kits placed on top. The bell tent in front of which the soldiers are standing belonged to 2058 Bombardier (later Air Commodore) Raymond James Brownell. (Original housed in AWM Archive Store) (Donor R. Sandover)
