South Vietnam. 1968-04. Private Dennis Lansbury, 21, of Brighton, Vic, explains on a map of Australia drawn on a blackboard, where he comes from to a young Vietnamese child. The school supplies, books, crayons, blackboard, benches and slates had been given to the Vietnamese garrison settlement by the 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit for the setting up of its first school.
