Description

Long Dien, South Vietnam. 1968-04. Private Frank Kehoe of Zillmere, Qld, receives a helping hand from a young Vietnamese boy to saw through a piece of wood. The 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit was constructing more than 130 houses for inhabitants of Long Dien village who lost their homes during Viet Cong attacks. The village was about ten miles south of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base at Nui Dat.
