Horseshoe Hill, South Vietnam. 1969-07. Lance Corporal Michael Gervase of Fremantle, WA, and a member of C Company, 9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (9RAR), shows a South Vietnamese soldier an Australian issued Browning 9mm pistol during a lecture break in training at the Horseshoe feature near Nui Dat. The soldier is part of the 18th Division of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN).
