Horseshoe Hill, South Vietnam. 1969-07. 1733790 Lance Corporal Godfrey Robert (Tom) Eaton of Kelvin Grove, Qld, and a member of C Company, 9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (9RAR), shows a South Vietnamese soldier from the 18th Division of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) how to service his M16 automatic rifle. The soldier was undertaking a five weeks training course in Australian tactics and weapon handling at the Horseshoe feature near Nui Dat.
