Description
Brass, star-shaped badge, surmounted by a king's crown, with a grenade embossed on the raised circular centre. Around this is a painted red ring within which is 'AUSTRALIAN ENGINEERS. A scroll underneath the badge bears the motto 'FACIMUS ET FRANCIMUS'.
