Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam. 1968-05. Deep protection is vital at the Australian Fire Support Base (FSB) Coral in north-west Bien Hoa Province, where members of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) are situated during Operation Toan Thang. Seen here is Captain Alan Vickers of Puckapunyal, Vic, an operations officer with the Task Force headquarters, as he leaves the heavily sandbagged underground Command Post.
