Description

Probably Moore Park, NSW. 1917-04-25. A crowd of civilians and soldiers gather to one side of what is probably the Sydney Showground to view an Anzac Day military memorial service. Naval forces and mounted horsemen enter the arena and were followed by others who had assembled earlier at Hyde Park. Amongst the signs in the background are those for NSW Fresh Food and Ice Co., Johnnie Walker, W. J. Hickey & Son, Dewars Whisky, Malthoid and Marcus Clark.
