1966-09-05. Labuan, Borneo. Naval Forces Borneo parade to mark the withdrawal of the Royal Navy, Royal Australian Navy and Royal New Zealand Naval Forces. The parade was provided by the Officers and Ships Company of the HMAS Parramatta Commander J.A. Matthews, MBE, Royal Australian Navy. The salute was taken by the Commander British Forces in Borneo, Major General G.H. Lea, CB, DSO, MBE. See AWM78, Item 290/4 for related information.
