Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1968-07-09. 3791850 Private Les Prendergast of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), waits in an armoured personnel carrier (APC) before moving out on Operation Blue Mountains. The operation was a five day sweep by Australians of the area north of the Long Hai Hills in south-east Phuoc Tuy Province.
