Description

At a parade, Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Bill Grogan of Plympton, SA, receives the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal from the Commander of the Australian Forces in Vietnam (COMAFV), Major General R. A. Hay of Red Hill, ACT. WO2 Grogan, an adviser with the Australian Army Training Team in Vietnam (AATTV), joined the Army in 1949 and subsequently served in Korea and Japan. In 1968 he moved from a posting with the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME) to the Training Team.
