Queanbeyan, NSW. May 1971. Photograph of the medals awarded to veteran Ernest Corey. Mr Corey was the only soldier in the British Commonwealth to be awarded the Military Medal four times. The Military Medal can be distinguished from the other medals pictured by the three bars on the ribbon. 2143 Corporal Ernest Albert Corey of Cooma, NSW, enlisted on 13 January 1916 into the 55th Battalion.
