Mudros Island, Greece. 1915. East Mudros Military Cemetery containing the graves of Allied soldiers killed in the Gallipoli Campaign. Mudros village is in the background. Graves marked with a cross, front row, left to right: 122918 Private (Pte) H Worthington, 41st Field Baker, Army Service Corps who died Friday 3 September 1915; 1585 Pte Joseph May, 7th Battalion (Bn), who died of dysentery 4 September 1915; 1413 Pte H F Claxton, 19th Bn, died 4 September 1915; Pte J Seaton, Lancashire Fusiliers, died 4 September 1915. Second row, second from right: Engine Room Artificer M Town, HMS Centurion; 2063 Pte J Wordsworth, 16th Bn, died of enteric fever 31 August 1915.
