Mudros Island, Greece. 1915. East Mudros Military Cemetery containing the graves of Allied soldiers killed in the Gallipoli Campaign. The building in the left background covers a memorial to their memory. Mudros village is in the background. The grave marked with a cross in the front row, fifth from left is 495 Trooper Robert Martin, 5th Australian Light Horse, who died of peritonitis 27 August 1915.
