The crew of an American Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft returned from a mission. The crew was headed by Lieutenant (Lt) Maclaren (first pilot), Lt Patterson (co-pilot) and Lt Armitage, observer and navigator. These boys were responsible for putting a Japanese tanker out of action.
