214101 Sergeant (Sgt) Wallace James (Wally) Galvin of Maroubra, NSW, reaches for the ball during an elimination volleyball contest between Australians and Americans at Tan Son Nhut Airbase. They are all members of Headquarters, Australian Forces Vietnam (AFV). [In 1970 Sgt Wallace Galvin undertook a second tour of duty in Vietnam, serving with Headquarters, 26 Company, Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC). Sgt Galvin was murdered at Nui Dat on 25 December 1970. Also killed in the same incident was 4410968 Sgt Allan Brian Moss. 37496 Sgt Frederick Edwin Bowtell was wounded.]
