Staff Sergeant Fred Docen, Australian Force Vietnam at the Vietnamese Red Cross centre
Description
It was a bright day for these Vietnamese children when Staff Sergeant Fred Docen of Canberra, ACT, a member of Headquarters, Australian Force Vietnam (AFV), handed out sweets at the Vietnamese Red Cross centre. The children, all amputees, were being trained in the use of artificial limbs by Barbara Ferguson of Hurstville, NSW (right). Five-year-old Ho Van Tao is seen standing second from the right of Miss Ferguson.
