Private Leigh Povey of Horsham, Vic, ploughs a field using a rotary hoe. The field was being prepared for vegetable and crop farming in the village of Ap Suoi Nghe, two miles north of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base at Nui Dat. It was part of a long range agricultural trial in South Vietnam. Private Povey was a member of the 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit.
