Vung Tau, South Vietnam. 1969-08-16. Colonel K. S. McKenzie of Newmarket, Qld, Deputy Commander of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) (right), presented a trophy, to Corporal (Cpl) Mac McLean of Cootamundra, NSW (left) and Cpl Don Sowton of Greenacres, SA, to mark 2,000,000 miles of operational driving by members of 5th Company, Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC). The presentation was part of a day of celebration at the 1st Australian Logistic Support Group (1ALSG) Base. The trophy, made from a steering wheel, reads, 5 Coy RAASC (GT) 2,000,000 miles Vietnam 16th August 1969.
