Ap Lo Gom, South Vietnam. 1969-09. Private (Pte) Edward Mathews of Wongan Hills, WA, and Pte Geoff White of Burnie, Tas, use binoculars while on guard at a Vietnamese Regional Force (RF) outpost in southern Phuoc Tuy Province. Both soldiers, of A Company, 9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (9RAR), are members of a Mobile Advisory Team training RF soldiers.
