c 1915. Studio portrait of the author 2460 Private Francis (Frank) Patrick Clune, 16th Battalion, who was wounded at Gallipoli and discharged. The portrait is inscribed 'Till we meet again, Frank. Peace 1919'. He served in the Second World War as a Comforts Fund Commissioner in Libya and Palestine and as a war correspondent in New Guinea and Burma, and later as a United Nations (UN) correspondent in Korea.
