Description

A group of young Vietnamese orphans climb over and surround the Land Rover vehicle carrying gifts of food, clothing and books donated by the Tasmanian branch of the National Civic Council Civil Aid Committee, which has been sending relief to Vietnam for the past two years. Sergeant Vic Pitts of Stafford, Qld (left), and Corporal Brian Downie of Bunbury, WA, signalmen from a detachment of the 110th Signal Squadron, based at the Australian Force Headquarters distributed the food and helped the children at the orphanage. In the centre is a Vietnamese woman. Note the tins of Sunshine powdered milk and Bear Brand milk.
