256105 Flying Officer (later Flight Lieutenant [Flt Lt]) Raymond Kenneth Love, RAAF of Omeo and Oakleigh, Vic (left), and 410340 Warrant Officer (later Pilot Officer [PO]) Russell Stuart Jack, RAAF of Wangaratta, Vic (centre). These two are pilots in No. 79 (Thunderbolt) Squadron RAF at an advanced Indian airfield, and are showing some of their photographs to NX103749 Captain Ray Sutherland Hodgson, AIF of Kempsey, NSW, who is on temporary duty in India. PO Jack was lost on operations over Burma (Myanmar) on April 21 1945, and is commemorated on the Singapore memorial.
