Description
Nine soldiers including 8932 Driver Jack (John) O. McKenzie, 20th Australian Army Service Corps (AASC), and other members of 20th AASC poke their heads through the side opening of a tent which has been painted with the words `A Merry Xmas to All'. The original caption reads `A photo of our tent. The one on top & the three of us at the bottom are all that is in the tent. All the rest are chums who have been with us ever since enlisting. Note the cane bed, we have four in the tent & they are very comfortable to sleep on, much better than the hard ground, I tell you.'
