Nui Dat, South Vietnam. February 1970. An AK50 assault rifle captured by 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), is presented by the Battalion Commander, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Colin Khan of Woollahra, NSW (left), to 105th Battery, Royal Australian Artillery in appreciation of its direct fire support of the Battalion. Private Peter Boccabella of Clayton, Vic, a member of 5RAR holds the weapon set in a wooden case.
