Morgan, Keith Alfred DFC(Bar) (Flight Lieutenant, b.1921 - d.1996)
Description
Flying logbook of Flight Lieutenant Keith Alfred Morgan recording in detail his pilot service between January 1942 and June 1945, including: (i) training in Australia and England, 1942-43 (ii) operations on Lancasters (including 'G for George') in 460 Squadron RAAF and 582 Squadron RAF, 1944, principally bombing missions over Germany and France (iii) missions in Hurricanes and Martinets in 1696 B(D)T, 1945. Notes on bombing missions include details regarding the state of each target, mostly large towns and cities, the numbers of bombs dropped and the numbers of casualties.
